Meet Your Therapist, Ana
My Story
Welcome! I’m Ana Guerreiro, a dedicated Family Constellations Psychotherapist and OH Cards Facilitator. My journey to this work is deeply personal and profoundly transformative. Here, I’d like to share my story, the beliefs that guide my practice, and what I hope we can achieve together.
How I Discovered Family Constellations and OH Cards
Years ago, I reached a turning point during a Bach Flowers course in Oxford. When asked how I felt, I said, "I feel like a broken plate with small pieces all over the place." That moment was a catalyst for change. Over time, I patiently glued those pieces back together. Each mark, scar, and imperfection became part of my story, and with courage, I learned to embrace the whole of who I am. It was through this process of healing and self-discovery that I found Family Constellations Therapy and OH Cards. These tools helped me uncover unconscious patterns, heal generational wounds, and live the life I truly wanted. Today, they are at the heart of my work with clients.

The Beliefs That Guide My Practice
I believe in the power of choice—there are no good or bad decisions, only those that feel right for you in the moment. Every decision shapes who we are, and I live with no regrets. I bring this philosophy into my practice, helping clients navigate their own paths with compassion and clarity. I also believe in the transformative power of storytelling. Our lives are shaped by the stories we tell ourselves, and by exploring these narratives, we can uncover truths, let go of limiting beliefs, and create a new, empowering story for the future.
My Experience and Formal Training
My work is grounded in years of professional training and personal growth. I hold formal qualifications in Family Constellations Therapy and OH Cards Facilitation, with additional training in Bach Flowers Remedies.
I specialise in:
- • Family Constellations Therapy for individuals and groups.
- • OH Cards workshops for self-discovery, resilience, and emotional insight.
- • Therapy & Tea Gatherings with themes like New Beginnings & Resilience.
- • Workplace Wellness Programs supporting employees in finding balance and resilience.
- • Retreats in the Scottish Borders for those seeking profound rest and transformation.
What I Hope Clients Achieve
Through our sessions, I hope you will:
- • Gain clarity about your family dynamics and how they influence your life.
- • Break free from unconscious patterns and live authentically.
- • Feel supported in navigating challenges and making empowered decisions.
- • Embrace your story, including all its marks and scars, with courage and self-compassion.
My goal is to provide a safe and nurturing space where you can explore, heal, and grow—whether you’re working through family issues, seeking balance, or simply looking to reconnect with yourself. I also believe in the transformative power of storytelling. Our lives are shaped by the stories we tell ourselves, and by exploring these narratives, we can uncover truths, let go of limiting beliefs, and create a new, empowering story for the future.
Your story is yours to write, and I’d be honoured to walk alongside you as you create the next chapter.

Beyond the Therapy Room
When I’m not working, I embrace life’s simple joys and seek inspiration in the world around me. I believe that nurturing the soul goes hand in hand with personal growth, and my personal interests reflect this balance.
A Love for Nature and Exploration
I find peace and renewal in nature. Whether it’s a quiet walk in the countryside or discovering a hidden gem in a new place, these moments connect me to something greater. Living in the serene beauty of the Scottish Borders has deepened my appreciation for life’s natural rhythms and inspired my work in creating tranquil, healing spaces for clients.
Tea, Books, and Reflection
Tea is more than a drink for me; it’s a ritual. I love the quiet moments it offers, a chance to pause and reflect. Paired with a good book, it’s my favourite way to recharge and learn something new. Stories, whether read or shared, have always fascinated me—they remind us that we’re all connected by our experiences.
Staying Active and Present
Exercise is a vital part of my routine. Whether it’s a calming yoga session or a brisk walk, staying active helps me stay grounded and present. Movement, much like therapy, is about flow and connection—both with yourself and the world around you.
Meeting New Places and People
Exploring new places, meeting new people, and hearing their stories fuel my curiosity and creativity. Every encounter teaches me something, and I love weaving those lessons into my life and practice.
These aspects of my life—tea, nature, movement, and exploration—shape who I am and how I approach therapy. They remind me to stay curious, grounded, and connected, both in my work and my personal journey.
